We meet on Sunday mornings for a combined worship experience as the Body of Christ. This worship experience is a blended style with both traditional and contemporary elements. This service begins at 10 am in the Sanctuary. Our service is also offered online; to access our online service use the "Livestream" link on the homepage or "Friend" us on Facebook!
At First United Methodist Church of Sylacauga, we believe that worship is our chance for us to come together and show God our love. We think worship is a combination of praise and giving thanks with a focus on learning more about our Lord and what God has planned for us.
We hope to see you at our worship gathering that takes place each week. All are welcome! God loves you and so do we!
ARTS
Chancel Choir - Rehearsals: Wednesday 7:00 pm. Perform in most services. No experience necessary. Just love of worship and music!
Media Team - Sunday morning rehearsals. Serve at all services. Personnel rotation. Needed: Elementary computer, video knowledge.
The Chancel Ringers (handbell choir) - Directed by Johnnie Tankersley. Rehearsals: Wednesday 4:45 pm. Perform monthly and in special services. No experience necessary. Just love of worship and music!
