SCHOOL

Here at Sylacauga First United Methodist Church, we have a number of opportunities for our church family to plug in and get involved.  One of those ways is on Sunday mornings at 9AM for Sunday School.  This time is dedicated to digging deeper into the word and strengthening our faith as Christ followers.  See our class offerings below to see where you'd like to plug in and get involved.

We are taught by a team of teachers made up from our membership. We support a number of mission projects, among which are: United Methodist Children’s Home, the Care house, local missions for our youth and other missions. We support our members, our church and community through prayer and service. We welcome all to be a part of our class.

We share a desire to enhance their relationship with Christ through the study of various Christian books taught by volunteer class members. Class members support each other, possess a caring and nurturing focus, and participate in local ministries.

 

Purpose Seekers Class

Resource: Anxious for Nothing: Finding Calm in a Chaotic World by Max Lucado

A diverse group of. We are currently using various Christian books to guide our discussion. We support one another, our church and our community through prayer and service. Facilitated by volunteers within the class.
