Sylacauga First United Methodist Church is a place where “Bringing People to Jesus, Building Up Believers, and Blessing the World” is more than a mission statement, it is a way of life. This concept of ministry applies to all areas of church life, including the programs offered to the youth.

The youth programs of FUMC are available to all young adults as they enter their 7th grade year of school and continue until graduation from high school. We offer a wide variety of opportunities for spiritual growth and development through Bible study, Sunday school, worship, and fellowship. It is our goal to meet the needs of a young man or woman as they transition through the crucial developmental years we call adolescence. In meeting these needs and offering support and encouragement, we strive to instill the Godly principles of life as modeled and taught by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by teaching Biblical truths and sharing in the common faith of salvation through Christ alone.
